There are several factors to consider for eg. My plane has a weight of about GM's incl batteries and thus has a high stall speed.
May I comment? An electric motor that can run either way doesn't care whether the prop is a tractor or pusher. Stall speed does NOT depend on the weight of the plane. It depends on the wing loading.
Prop size has to be matched not only to the motor kv and battery voltage, but also to the model. Ie, its span, wing loading and proposed airspeed. Sir it's about 60 inch span. I don't care how fast it flies.

This will help you choose the optimal motor for your next quadcopter and racing drone build. Before choosing motors, you should at least have a rough idea of the size and weight of the drone you want to build.
There are two types of motors used in RC, Brushless and Brushed motors. Generally we use brushless motors on larger models such as racing drones, and any bigger modelsand Brushed on the micro drones and toy drones. We will focus on brushless motors in this guide.

With the estimated total weight of the craft, you can work out the minimum amount of thrust required for the motor and propeller combination to produce.
A general rule is that the maximum thrust produced by all motors is at least double of the total weight of the quadcopter.
If the thrust is too little, the copter will not respond well to your control, it might even struggle to lift off. For faster flying such as drone racing, you should expect the thrust to weight ratio or power to weight ratio to be much higher than the example above. Generally speaking, for acro flying, I recommend to have at least With a higher thrust to weight ratio, a quadcopter will have greater agility and acceleration, but it might become harder to control as well.

You need an ESC electronic speed controller to drive a brushless motor. Unlike brushed motors which only have two wires, there are three wires in a brushless motor, and you can connect these wires to the ESC in any order. Swapping two of the three wires will simply reverse the motor rotation direction.
What is brushless motor stator? The main difference is, when increasing the stator height, it increases the permanent magnet size more than the coil size, and when increasing the stator width, it increases the electromagnetic coil size more than the permanent magnet.
Anyway, increasing either the width or height of the motor stator will increase the stator volume, size of the permanent magnet and electromagnetic stator coils. This will eventually increase the overall torque of the motor so it can spin bigger and heavier propeller. The larger surface area also helps heat dissipation.
Taller motors are known to be powerful and hold up better at higher RPM. Wider stator motors have a larger volume of iron and copper in the stator, and are known to make a more torquey and efficient motor. For a more academic explanation of KV. Higher KV motors would attempt to spin the propeller faster, and it can draw more current. The KV value can be determined by the number of copper wire windings on the stator. As it tries to produce the required torque it will draw more current and subsequently generate too much heat. This will eventually lead to overheating and it can burn out the motor.
This is because when the motor overheats, the coating on the coil will start melting and causing electrical shorts inside the motor. Generally speaking, heavier quad usually pair with medium to low KV motors, lighter quad usually use high KV motors. But if you are after flight time, go for the Dragonfly It does generate more thrust though than the Gemfan due to the larger surface area. Anyway the conclusion was HQ was smoother, but less efficient and less thrust than the Gemfanalso very easy to break too, so not worth the money really. That should be good enough to give us an idea of how those props compared to each other, and find the best props for our mini quad or motors.

Efficiency is also important for my build and you give also an efficiency rating. For example a cobra kv is more efficient than a cobra kv with the same prop and lipo, but the kv gives less trust. For the same amount of trust for both motors, i need to take other props.
